Before Your Appointment
Please read and follow these instructions carefully! Failure to do so will affect the healed results of your cosmetic tattoo and result in rescheduling your appointment.
No caffeine, energy drinks or alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Do not take blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Niacin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E or omega-3 supplements at least 72 hours before treatment. Please consult your physician before discontinuing any medication.
Do not tint your eyebrows 1 week prior to.
Waxing treatments should not be performed within 5 days of your procedure.
Do not perform chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning or laser treatments 7-10 days before receiving cosmetic tattooing, an no suntanning!
Laser hair removal, Botox and or any other fillers should not be performed within a month of your appointment.
Discontinue use of products containing retinol, vitamin A, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid and/or skin rejuvenating products near your brow area 4 weeks before your appointment. These products cause premature color fading.
You must be off Accutane for at least 1 year.
If you notice a blemish within your brow area, let me know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment! It is my decision and within your best interest that I decide whether I have a workable surface for your brows.
Please keep in mind that being on your menstrual cycle or consuming a lot of leafy greens within days of your appointment can increase sensitivity and bleeding.
